The Mono 100 from the Japanese Pencilmaker Tombow. The Mono 100 line was first introduced in the late 60s. With its premium core and unique high quality design it was quickly becoming a success story. Black-high gloss lacquering paired with golden letters and the white stripe across the end make it the definition of aesthetic. The graphite used by Tombow is extremely smooth and will give you a rich saturated stroke. As this is a pencil from a Japanese company (even though it is produced in Vietnam) the core is a bit darker than what you’d expect from a European 2B.
