This pencil is for all the artists out there! The concept is simple: two cores of different grade combined in one pencil. A HB core on one and a 4B core on the other end. Take this pencil and some piece of paper and you’ll have a minimalistic drawing kit that you can take anywhere.
I think this pencil is remarkable when you think about how difficult it its to manufacture a pencil like this. During production there’s no practical way of telling the two cores apart. Just two grey graphite cores. Its easy to get them mixed up. Viking managed to handle all of the issues.
The HB side feels true to grade. Maybe a bit on the darker end of HB. The 4B core is also well balanced, while feeling softer and waxier.
